Here is the second state of my cubist inspired guitar print. It is an etching done on a zinc plate. I think im gonna do a series of them...

Hi. Last week I posted a picture of a zinc plate  with a guitar that I am working on. Well earlier this week I did a test print of it. It was ok. Two of my finger prints etched into the plate :( so I will have to burnish them out or put some sort of texture on it possibly with aquatint. I forgot my plate at home so I couldn't work on it.

Todays rainy morning was a perfect day for printmaking. I actually spent all day cutting, beveling, sanding, six copper plates. I never printed on copper plates so I will have to use ferric acid on them to etch.
