Hey, I went down to LACMA with the intention of seeing the Tim Burton show only to have it sold out for the day--bust!
But we ended up seeing some good stuff in LACMA then went down to MOCA's Art in the Streets show which was spectacular but i didn't get to see everything on account of them closing; so we were rushed out by the time I got to "right wing" of the place.
But I really liked Swoon's installation and that alone was worth it; which was a 3D collage if you will, that seemed like a paper tower or a giant snowflake. Her stuff is amazing I think women are far better artists than men...
Also I am going to be in a art show at The Artery in Costa Mesa on Saturday, June 18th @7pm-11pm. And my piece is coming together nicely I will post those pics real soon...
Two final things (mental bric-a-brac), one is that there is no graceful way to fall off a bicycle so always check that your brakes work properly. And secondly, when one can feel the springs on your bed every night, it feels like i have fallen off my bike every morning…
