Lucifer
I recently started an acrylic painting on paper a few nights ago. The title came first, and it is called: The Manner In Which I Want To Devour Lucifer's Morning Light. Despite its appearance I don't consider it to be  erotic themed; its more about the celestial body. (what a crock huh)

A.C.E. Review
The downtown Anaheim art walk happened this past weekend, I enjoyed it. I liked the band that was playing on the street; their name was The Originalites. I like how the fella at the OC Art Blog reviewed the event...

Art Crawl Experience is this valentines day weekend in downtown Anaheim from 5-11pm. It should be lots of fun; I also want to stop by the free Dr. Sketchys that will be happening down at Rothick Gallery. I am also eager to see the other galleries that will be opening along with of course the vendors...

I will try and finish my a few prints that are love related this weekend

Art Walk
I Went to the Santa Ana art walk last night and checked out  the Sugestivisim exhibit at the Grand Central Art Station. There were some interesting paintings  on display I have to admit though that after seeing so many the "Juxtapoz" style paintings that the slickness of those paintings gets boring and many seem to suffer from escapism, especially in light of recent events such as the rebellions in Egypt…The painting i enjoyed the most was a large acrylic  done  on paper of a person laying down that seemed to be coming together

At OCCCA by stark contrast there was an exhibit of photographs; some that come to mind were the photos of various marine wildlife covered in oil from the recent Bp Oil spill.
